religulous

This documentary film about religion is made by the director of Borat and stars Bill Mahr. Religion is something that interests me a great deal. I grew up in a very religious home and i know how much power it can have over people. After i got into college, i started thinking about other religions and the history of established religions. I figured out that i wasn’t something that i wanted to be a part of. I think that religion can be something that is dangerous. It has the ability to brain wash you and the church can be something something that controls your life. Some people find comfort in knowing about god, but some people end up causing a lot of harm because of religion.

I personally think that people should relax about this issue. We should not be so serious about it. And, religious freaks should try to control their temper. I have tried to get some intelligent conversations going with religious freaks, but it always ends up being an argument. Religious nuts gets so offended so quickly. I haven’t checked out this movie yet, but i will heading over to the theater right now. I heard great things about it and i am sure it will be worth 10 bucks. I hope this film does well, so that the studios are encouraged to produce more movies for adults.
